Architecture
Creating and shaping spaces that inspire and endure
Architecture is about more than just buildings; it’s about creating a place – founded from and inspired by its location.
Each scheme is led by a commitment to understand its location, context, and unique characteristics, developing creative solutions that meet the project goals. Whether we are shaping a new neighbourhood centre, delivering a mixed use urban regeneration scheme, or repurposing existing buildings and structures, we recognise that people and place are fully interconnected.
We see our role as holistically blending diverse requirements and disciplines in a creative process. We work closely with Clients, stakeholders, communities and the wider team, listening to ideas and incorporating feedback at every stage.
We are committed to designing buildings that are sustainable at all levels; taking a fabric first holistic approach, from energy efficiency and material selection, to incorporating renewable sources.
Our goal is to ensure that we engender positive change in the environment that will support the needs of our ever-evolving society.
We stay at the forefront of architectural innovation, leveraging technology and research to create spaces with rich identities. We seek to utilise new technology in order to improve both our professional services and the quality of the places we create.
Our Approach
Context Analysis & Opportunities
We analyse existing context, character, and identity to understand site potential and identify key opportunities that inform the design approach.
Vision & Concept Development
We establish a strong vision and develop conceptual ideas, exploring and testing options to define the best solution.
Collaboration & Design Development
We work collaboratively to integrate diverse inputs, refine architectural solutions, and ensure proposals are technically informed and robust.
Engagement & Delivery
We engage positively with stakeholders and support the planning and delivery process to ensure successful outcomes.
Our Deliverables
Strategic Definition & Feasibility
Provide early-stage architectural advice, feasibility and capacity studies, vision documents, and reviews of existing buildings to define adaptable and viable project strategies (RIBA Stages 0–2).
Concept & Schematic Design
Develop concept and schematic design options, establishing the design direction and exploring alternative approaches (RIBA Stages 2–3).
Planning & Design Development
Prepare and coordinate outline and full planning applications, including drawings, visuals, Design & Access Statements, and progressing design development (RIBA Stages 3–4).
Technical Design & Delivery
Deliver detailed and technical design information and support construction through to completion and project delivery (RIBA Stages 4–7).
